In Exile and Spirit I explore themes of spiritual resilience, memory, and ancestral connection. A lone figure, draped in white, emerges from a swirl of deep blues, purples, and blacks—colors that evoke both grief and the vastness of the unknown. The Star of David in the sky serves as a compass, a symbol of identity and faith, while abstract textures hint at movement, fragmentation, and divine presence.

The painting is layered with expressive brushstrokes, textured marks, and symbolic hints—a shofar-like curve, prayer-like gestures, and sacred architecture—all inviting the viewer to contemplate the tension between earthly sorrow and spiritual continuity.
